The French Congress of Mechanics is a reference scientific event of the French Association of Mechanics under the auspices of the Thematic and Transverse Group of the University Activities in Mechanics. It is organized every two years in a different city.
Its mission is to bring together all the actors of research and innovation, both academic and industrial, to promote exchanges and scientific and technical advances around the issues and challenges of tomorrow's society.
The 24th edition of the CFM will take place from 26 to 30 August 2019 in Brest, at the premises of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Western Brittany (UBO). Its organization is ensured by the Dupuy de Lôme Research Institute (IRDL, UMR CNRS 6027) in partnership with all the actors of mechanics of Brittany, the city of Brest, the department of Finistère and the Brittany region.
France Energies Marines is organizing session 18 entitled Mechanics for Renewable Energy.
