Offshore wind energy, modelling and food webs

Thematic and scientific workshop in Caen on 14 June.

This workshop focused on modeling the role of offshore wind turbines in modifying the functioning of coastal food webs and in cumulative impacts. The event is hosted by France Energies Marines, the University of Caen Normandy, the Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale, EDF Renewables and the Normandy Region.
It was a restitution of the results obtained within the framework of the collaborative R&D TROPHIK project whose study site was the eastern basin of the Baie de Seine, in this case the future wind farm off Courseulles-sur-Mer.
